The DNDND purple sharp-edge resin dice set is a seven-piece polyhedral set for Dungeons & Dragons and other tabletop RPGs, sold in a long, narrow hinged metal tin. Cast in clear resin tinted purple, a deep violet, the dice are packed with flakes of copper (an orange-pink metallic) and rose-gold foil that flash pink and orange in the light. Their numbers are filled in silver, a bright silvery white, in simple rounded numerals, with a bar under the 6 and 9 to tell them apart.
Sharp, crisp edges and flat faces set these dice apart from the rounded, tumbled corners of standard acrylic dice. In the set are a d20, a small d6, a d12, a d8, a d4, a d10 and a percentile d10 marked in tens (00, 10, 40 and so on). The d4 is a paler, more see-through lavender than the others. Inside, the tin is lined with black foam: a flat pad in the lid and a strip in the base with seven cut-outs that hold each die in its own slot.
The tin is black, a flat semi-gloss black, with a thin border line in yellow-green (a chartreuse) and a small d20 icon drawn in the same color in each corner of the lid. Across the lid a red dragon (orange-red outlined in yellow) breathes a stream of flames toward a round clear window at the left end. A silver ring rims the window, framed by a white spiked sunburst, so the percentile die shows through when the tin is closed. At the right end of the lid sits the logo: DNDND in white, slightly flared block capitals with red outlines, set over a yellow and red flame. On this copy: the tin is longer than the adult hand holding it in the photos (not measured). The dice look clean with no chipped edges seen. On the tin lid are light surface scratches and a small dent at the lower right corner, and the underside is scuffed and grimy with paint rubbed off near one end.
