Lladró
Lladró is a Spanish porcelain maker founded in 1953 by the brothers Juan, José and Vicente Lladró in Almàssera, near Valencia. Its figurines are known for long, graceful figures, soft pastel colors and a glossy or matte finish. Every piece carries the blue Lladró backstamp, and most have a model number that identifies the design.

How to identify a Lladró
- Backstamp: a blue crown-and-flower logo with "LLADRO" and usually "Hand Made in Spain" on the unglazed base.
- Model number: many bases don't show it, so match the figure to a known model by its pose, clothing and props.
- Sister brand: NAO pieces are also made by Lladró but carry a different backstamp. They are listed separately.
- Same name, different model: Lladró reused names. "Little Gardener" is both 4726 and 1283, so always check the number.
