Detailed visual description

Red mug with Chef Mickey stirring a bowl

The Chef Mickey's Village Restaurant souvenir mug is a tall, tapered drink mug of molded plastic in red, a bright cherry red with a slightly translucent, satin finish. Its upper body is smooth and round, and the lower third is faceted into flat vertical panels that narrow toward the base. A thick open D-shaped handle is molded onto one side, and the rim is a plain rolled lip.

Front to back: the main logo is printed in red, black and white and appears twice, on the front and back. It is a round badge: CHEF MICKEY'S arches across the top in chunky, slightly tilted red block capitals outlined in black, with the apostrophe S at the right. In the center Mickey Mouse, drawn in black and white, wears a puffy white chef's hat and a white jacket and stirs a white mixing bowl with a spoon, set against a red circle. Below, two curved bands of black and white stripes carry VILLAGE on the left and RESTAURANT on the right in small red capitals. A tiny ©Disney is printed in black to the right of the logo. Between the two logos is a small white rectangle with the Coca-Cola Classic logo in red: Enjoy in small type, Coca-Cola in the familiar flowing script, and CLASSIC in small capitals with a little red pennant shape.

The underside is recessed and plain red. Molded into it are MADE IN USA in raised capitals curving across the top, the triangular chasing-arrows recycling symbol with the number 5 inside, and PP below it, with a small round injection molding point under the letters.

On this copy: not measured. The printed logos are bright and complete, with only small specks. Light scratches and scuffs from use mark the bottom. No cracks are visible.
