About this pouch

A Pokemon marble pouch from the 2000 Toy Biz craze

This #149 Dragonite pouch is one of the collector marble pouches Toy Biz sold in 2000, at the height of the first Pokemon craze. Each pouch featured one Pokemon and came with a set of Pokemon marbles, and the pouches were sold in numbered series.

Toy Biz was the toy company owned by Marvel Enterprises at the time, which is why the tag carries a 2000 Marvel Ent. Inc. copyright next to the 1999 Nintendo copyright and the Official Nintendo Licensed Product seal.

Dragonite is number 149 in the original Pokedex, the final form of Dratini and Dragonair. Pouches turn up in different colors: this one is red, and a green Dragonite pouch has also been listed.
