2002 Tech Deck Dude Grimm Dudes 3pig #003, Storybooks Gone Wrong Figure with Fingerboard
Grimm Dudes figure #003, the Three Little Pigs gone wrong, from 2002
The 2002 Tech Deck Dude Grimm Dudes 3pig is figure #003 in the Grimm Dudes line that X-Concepts sold under the tag Storybooks Gone Wrong. The card back tells the story: three pig scientists were mutated into one creature, 3pig, who now leads the resistance against Prince Harming and the Big Rad Wolf. Like other Tech Deck Dudes it comes packed with a fingerboard. The card back lists six figures, Lumpity Grumpity #001, Prince Harming #002, 3pig #003, Toof Fairy #004, Big Rad Wolf #005 and Peter Rottentail #006, and gives a 2002 copyright. Sellers call this release Chapter 1. Some listings, including the owner's item specifics, tag it MPN 010, but #010 is the number sellers give Cindyrella, a later figure dated 2003. The package photos settle it: this card is 3pig #003.
Three pigs in one blue jacket, sealed on a dark red Grimm Dudes card
The Tech Deck Grimm Dudes 3pig is a small painted figure of three pigs fused into one body. In front, a pale pink (flesh pink) pig screams with a huge open mouth, a dark red (maroon) throat and jagged white teeth, its eyes rolled up. A second pig head sits on top, grinning wide with a yellow (straw blond) tuft of hair, and a third pig reaches out from behind with grabbing hands. The body wears a blue (dusty cornflower) jacket with one yellow (mustard) sleeve and stands on black hooves. A black fingerboard printed "Grimm" stands beside the figure in the blister.
