Matchbox Collectibles 1969 Chevy Camaro SS-396, Coca-Cola "Enduring Characters" Edition

About this model

Part of Matchbox Collectibles' 1999 Coca-Cola "Enduring Characters" Edition

Matchbox Collectibles, Mattel's line for adult collectors, made this 1969 Chevy Camaro SS-396 for its Coca-Cola "Enduring Characters" Edition. The series put classic Coca-Cola advertising characters, like the Coca-Cola Santa and the Polar Bear, on die-cast vehicles. The card's back lists six miniature-scale pieces: a Hydroplane, a 1998 Jeep Wrangler, a Seaplane, this Camaro, a Blimp and a 1967 VW Transporter. It also lists a 1940 Ford Pickup in traditional scale and a 1999 VW Beetle in large scale.
