Disney's mail-order watch for the year 2000
The Disney Catalog was Disney's mail-order catalog, and it sold its own line of character watches through the 1990s and 2000s. For the millennium it offered this watch, built around Disney's 2000 logo with Mickey bursting through the first zero. It came in a black lacquered gift box with the same logo on the lid and a cream pillow for the watch, plus an instruction booklet. Don't confuse it with the Walt Disney World 2000 watches sold in the parks, which have different dials and are often numbered limited editions.

The Disney Catalog 2000 Mickey Mouse watch has a round gold-tone case with a smooth bezel and a black dial. Across the middle, "2000" is printed in large, thin gold numerals, and Mickey Mouse bursts out of the first zero inside a white starburst, wearing his red shorts and yellow shoes. Gold dots mark the hours, and slim gold hands point from the center. The strap is black leather with a lizard-skin texture and a gold-tone buckle. It comes in a square black lacquered box with "2000" and Mickey on the lid.
