Dynasty Gallery Teal Art Glass Octopus Figurine with White Mottling, Googly Eyes and Clear Tentacles
This is a Dynasty Gallery art glass octopus figurine or paperweight: a round domed head of deep teal glass with white net-like mottling and tiny bubbles, cased in clear glass, set on eight outspread clear glass tentacles with flattened, tooled tips. Two applied white glass eyes with dark pupils give it a wide-eyed cartoon face. The base carries a clear sticker printed in gold with a small figure logo, DYNASTY GALLERY and SINCE plus a year. It has no etched signature, so without the sticker it looks like many other unmarked gift-shop glass octopuses.

A Dynasty Gallery glass animal
Dynasty Gallery is a brand of glass animal figurines and paperweights, identified here by its gold-printed clear sticker. Its pieces are usually marked only with a sticker, so once the label is lost they are hard to tell apart from other gift-shop glass.
Teal mottled glass octopus with big white eyes and clear arms
The Dynasty Gallery teal art glass octopus is a small solid glass figurine, also sold as a paperweight, with a round domed head sitting on a cluster of eight curling tentacles. Its head is green, a deep teal or sea green, with a white net-like mottling inside, all cased in a layer of clear glass. Below, the tentacles are clear glass with a little teal color drawn into them near the body.
Across the head runs a lacy pattern of white and pale teal patches over darker bottle-green areas, with tiny trapped bubbles and darker green specks near the crown, so it looks a bit like reptile skin or a sea sponge. Two applied eyes sit low on the front of the head: round white glass discs with dark brown to black pupils, giving a cartoonish, wide-eyed face. The eight tentacles spread out flat in a star around the body, each a pulled rod of clear glass that thickens and flattens at the tip, with small curls and tooling marks.
The underside is flat enough to sit level. In the center is a clear round sticker printed in gold: a small stylized figure with outstretched, wing-like arms at the top, then DYNASTY and GALLERY in two lines of capitals with small serifs, a thin rule, and SINCE followed by a partly torn year. No etched signature or engraved mark appears in the glass.
On this copy: it fits in an adult palm, roughly 3 to 4 inches across the tentacles (not measured). The glass is whole with no chips seen on the tentacle tips, and the gold label is intact except that the year after SINCE is torn and unreadable. Light dust and some surface scratching show on the label.
